Scientific name: Epilobium coloratum

Dimensions:
  Flower: About 1/4" (6 mm) wide
  Plant height: 1-3' (30-90 cm)

Blooming period: July-September

Habitat: Swamps and moist thickets

Description: Numerous small pink or white flowers with notched petals solitary in upper axils of freely branched plant. Leaves narrowly lance- shaped or oblong-lanceolate with numerous, fine, irregular sharp teeth. Leaves and stem purplish marked, hairy. Evening-primrose family. (July 18)
