Scientific name: Streptopus Lancolatus

Dimensions:
  Flower: 3/8" (8 mm) long
  Plant height: 1 - 3 ' (30 - 90 cm)

Blooming period: April-July

Habitat: Moist woods and thickets

Description: Branching plant, finely hairy with zigzag stem and nodding, 6-pointed bell-shaped flowers in axils of stalkless (sessile) leaves. Leaves 2 1/2 - 6" (6.5-15 cm) long, lance-shaped (lanceolate), parallel-veined, slightly clasping. Lily family. (May 28)
