Musk Mallow

Common name: Musk Mallow

Scientific name: Malva moschata

Dimensions:
    Flower: 1½-2" (4-5 cm) wide
    Plant height: 12-24" (30-60 cm)

Blooming period: June-September

Habitat: Fields, roadsides, disturbed areas

Description: Pink-lavender or white flowers with notched petals in scattered groups at ends of branches; 5 petals; bushy center column of stamens; stamens fused with anthers around style. Leaves 3-4" (7.5-10 cm) wide, palmately divided into very narrow segments. Mallow family. (July 27)
