Panicled Aster

Common name: Panicled Aster

Scientific name: Aster simplex

Dimensions:
    Flower: 3/4-1" (2-2.5 cm) wide
    Plant height: 2-6' (60-180 cm)

Blooming period: August-October

Habitat: Meadows, damp open ground, damp thickets

Description: Flower rays white, may be tinged with violet, numerous. Tall, slender plant with lanceolate leaves, sometimes toothed, sessile or short-stalked. Lower leaves 3-6" (7.5-15 cm) long, upper leaves shorter. Aster family. (September 13)
